At Cohens our glasses and contact lenses are privately sold. Nevertheless, you may be eligible for a NHS optical voucher, if you fit into one of the forthcoming categories;
• you are aged under 19 and in full time education
• you are an adult on certain benefits
• you are prescribed complex lenses
If your glasses need repairs or a replacement you may once again be entitled to the voucher.

Entitlement to help with health costs (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs) is based on the principle that those who can afford to contribute should do so, while those who are likely to have difficulty in paying should be protected.
